"music CHINA 2014" was held on October 8 until 11th for four days in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center. Typhoon Phanfone hit the Japanese Islands directly and we really worried about the departure, however, Japanese musical instrument makers were able to come to Shanghai all together again. This time 1,775 music product suppliers from 29 countries spread over 98,000m2 in 9 halls.

The Japan pavilion sponsored by JETRO was drawing to the third exhibition this year. The pavilion was unified by the unique ‘Japonism’ design and located at Hall E2 with pianos and stringed instruments.

Visitors who stopped at our booth were interested in the high-price ensemble set of AULOS Symphony Series and Flauto Traverso and most of them were anxious for purchasing AULOS recorders at an instant. We were surprised at their powerful abilities to buy things.

"music CHINA 2014" had more than 71,500 visitors in total, 68,000 people from China and 3,500 people from foreign countries. Not only Chinese but also The Middle East and South East Asian buyers gave us many inquiries. We actually felt that the center of commerce and consumption is moving to Asia.

We expect the demand for high-quality AULOS recorders increases more and more in China which is recently turning into the market evaluating its quality first on the basis of economic growth.
